You can join the pension scheme for expatriates. Kerala State Government with a project not yet familiar in India. Pravasi Pension Scheme, an initiative of the Kerala Pravasi Welfare Board for expat Keralites , was introduced in April 2018. Eligibility criteria:Through this scheme you can apply for pension during retirement or at the time of completion of work at the age of 60+.
But citizens below any pension scheme of the Central or State Governments cannot apply for this. Benefits Granted:Under this scheme, expatriates living abroad will get a pension of Rs. 2000 / – per month during retirement on payment of Rs. 100 / – per month. You will receive this pension from the age of 60. Until then you have to pay this fixed amount every month. Failure to pay for one year in a row will result in termination of membership.
The scheme is designed to provide a 3% increment per person with payments for five consecutive years.Online registration process is as follows:
Step 1: – Log on to the official site of Pravasi Kerala
Step 2: – Select the appropriate registration type.
Step 3: – Enter the required information in the next section. Nominee details are also required for this section. Pay attention to that too.
Step 4: – You need to upload the photo on the right side of the page. The signature also needs to be uploaded. Be sure to upload both of them as suggested there.
Step 5: – When done, press the submit button. Now you can see that your registration has been completed successfully. A fee of Rs 200 is required for registration. You can pay for it online or offline. Some forms need to be filled in when paying offline. But this does not apply when paying online.
